This coming week is very busy at school! Along with learning new skills in math and science, we also have our Middle School field trip this Tuesday in the morning. Please make sure your child’s permission slip is turned in to me! Also, money for the dinner theater field trip, as well as their permission slip, is due this Thursday, March 29th!
Spring break will be the next week. Please remember that spring break is now just April 2-6. April 9th is now a make-up day, because of the missed days of school due to the weather.
I will be sending home a math review page for students to complete as well, along with working on their cell project. This will be due April 13th!
I also sent home report cards with your child on Friday! Please make sure they return the signed envelope to me only! You may keep the report cards.
Inside of the report cards are also information about helping your child choose their middle school courses. Our guidance counselor will begin pulling your child next week for middle school scheduling, so these papers needs to be returned as soon as possible! There is also a flyer about Soaring Eagles Night at CMS for you and your child to attend to get more information about middle school.
This week students will be using protractors to measure the degrees of different angles. Students will also study the relationships between the earth, moon and planets, as well as study important scientists from the past that have helped up understand the planets as we know them today.
